October 2025

Hello from Mrs. Caron!

Congratulations Rylie on winning the door prize at our 3 school bbq - sponsored by Debock Farms!

September has been a busy but successful start-up! Students and teachers have settled into their routines nicely, and the beautiful weather has allowed us to continue enjoying outdoor PE classes.

Our “Three School Community BBQ,” generously sponsored by Pembina, was a great success—thank you to all the parents who joined us and took the time to connect with our staff.

This month, Harry Gray students also had the chance to participate in exciting, hands-on activities through Science in Motion, a wonderful opportunity made possible by our Parent Council.

We are looking forward to many more engaging projects and initiatives throughout the year, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

4F - Classroom Spotlight

Our first month at Harry Gray has been great! We like being in a bigger school.

Last Friday we got to participate in our first Bandit Day. This is a school wide get together where we get to play games planned by the Grade 6 students. The purpose of this day is to get to know each other, build school community, and have fun.

There were a lot of games such as ball toss, knocking down cups, and trivia games. The best part was getting candy for participating!

At lunch, we got to roast our own hot dogs which were so yummy! We also got chips and a bottle of water. After lunch we cleaned up the Trout Pond and went to the Multiplex.

Our time at the Multiplex was so fun! The first thing we did was head to the pool for swimming. Some of us did flips off the diving board while others played in the lazy river. Once we were done in the pool we went to the field house.

In the field house they had set up floor hockey, basketball, badminton, and volleyball courts. Our favourite part was when Mr. Steinke was chasing us and playing games with us. We ended our day with homemade cookies from Max's mom. They were sooooo delicious!

We can't wait for next Bandit Day!

Head Lice

It is important to check your child regularly for head lice.  While not dangerous and cannot spread illness or disease, they can be a nuisance and create a lot of work.

If you child has head lice, it is important to start treatment right away.
